An eight-inch metal stud framing core forms the partition wall, with stud spacing determined per the structural drawings. Sound attenuation batt insulation fills the stud cavity to reduce acoustic transmission. Each side of the framing carries a layer of gypsum sheathing and five-eighths-inch gypsum board finished according to the finish schedule.
