An aluminum door frame is set within a partition framed by metal studs and gypsum board. The jamb assembly incorporates two 20-gauge metal studs on each side, typical. The door leaf hangs on hinges as required and is coordinated with the door schedule for thickness, fire rating, and finish. A 3-degree bevel is provided at both sides of the door, maintaining a 3/32-inch clearance between the door and jamb on each side. The rough opening is sized 1-1/4 inches over the door width.
