A structural strut connection ties into existing columns at a low roof level with pre-cast concrete column cladding. Two one-half-inch rods are coredrilled through the existing columns to secure the assembly. New one-half-inch and one-quarter-inch beveled plates are welded to the existing column flange. An existing channel and sixteenth-gauge galvanized sheet metal flashing are integrated above, alongside an aluminum seismic cover attached to the column.
