This concrete curb and gutter assembly features a gutter pan with an 18-inch width, a 3/8-inch lip, a 1-inch radius at the flow line, and a 6-inch curb height with tooled 1/2-inch radius edges. The adjoining concrete walk includes a thickened edge with a variable depth marked as x and a minimum depth of 2x, bearing on a compacted subgrade over natural grade. A 1/2-inch expansion joint separates the walk from the back of the curb. Additional notes require 1/2-inch expansion joints at 16 feet 0 inches on center maximum and at curve tangents and corners, as well as priming all curbs scheduled to receive paint.
