A three-eighths-inch thick galvanized steel angle forms the edge containment for the roof grate system and ties back into the building column. Stainless steel type three hundred sixteen mill finish fasteners with type RI-eighteen hundred inserts attach the grate to the steel angle per pedestal manufacturer recommendations. Roof pavers are installed adjacent to the assembly. All exposed metals are galvanized, and the overall mechanical roof screen extends to one hundred fourteen feet two and one-half inches.
