This wall and counter section details a high-low service counter configuration with tiered work surfaces at 3 feet 0 inches and 3 feet 6 inches above finished floor. The dividing wall consists of a 3-5/8 inch metal stud frame faced with moisture-resistant gypsum board and fiberglass reinforced plastic panels. Hollow structural section steel members cantilever out to support the lower countertop surface, complete with shim plates for leveling, chamfered end caps with ground edges, and PT-7 paint finish. White sealant is applied at the gypsum board and countertop junction. The floor receives a continuous resinous cove base alongside scheduled tile wall finishes and food service equipment integrated below.
