Suspended gypsum board ceiling framing featuring carrying channels spaced at forty-eight inches on center maximum with hanger wires positioned within six inches of channel ends. Furring channels run perpendicular beneath the carrying channels spaced at twenty-four inches on center maximum. Gypsum board panels are secured to the underside of the furring channels.
