A curved structural steel beam frames into a continuous wide flange beam or girder assembly. Shear plates welded to the web of the supporting member connect to the incoming framing members using bolted connections. Additional framing members attach above with shear plates, bolts, and welded details referenced to sheet S6.20. All plate sizes, bolt counts, and welding requirements are specified per the referenced drawing schedules.
