This assembly features a hollow metal door frame installed within a metal stud wall partition. The wall cavity is filled with batt insulation and finished on both sides with two layers of Type X gypsum board. The hollow metal door frame is secured to the stud framing, accommodating either a hollow metal or wood door as specified in the door schedule. The metal stud wall configuration is referenced to the architectural floor plans.
