An aluminum storefront system is anchored directly into a tilt-up concrete wall opening using anchors sized per manufacturer specifications. Shims are installed as required alongside sealant placed over a backer rod at each side of the opening to maintain weather resistance. A continuous sealant bead seals the exterior perimeter between the concrete and the aluminum storefront frame.
