An acoustical panel is attached to a metal stud wall assembly using Z-clips spaced at a maximum of 24 inches on center vertically and 20 inches on center horizontally. The Z-clips and wall framing connect to metal track backing sized per structural drawings. Number 8 modified truss head sheet metal screws secure the assembly at 16 inches on center.
