Cold-formed steel framing at wall openings utilizes header studs and header tracks as scheduled, supported by jamb studs as scheduled. A two-inch by two-inch sixteen-gauge clip angle is placed at the bottom of the header track, cut one-half inch less than the stud width and secured with three number ten self-tapping sheet metal screws on each leg. An infill stud connects into a track sized to match the stud headers using number ten self-tapping screws.
