A self-adhered membrane is applied over the bottom, then the sides, and lastly the top of the scupper box. The weather-resistive barrier liner extends eight inches from the rough opening with a two-inch minimum clearance. The primary water-resistive barrier laps over the self-adhered membrane above the scupper and is terminated with sealant to maintain the air barrier. Standard six-inch minimum horizontal and vertical laps are required for the primary water-resistive barrier, which is lapped under the base of the water-resistive barrier liner. A one-half-inch drip edge and sealant-5 are provided at the base.
