An aluminum storefront window system bears directly on a concrete slab and is sealed with continuous sealant and backer rod. A three-quarter-inch sheet metal flashing pan extends beneath the sill frame to direct moisture outward over the concrete edge. The interior and exterior finished floor and grade relationships are marked relative to the sill assembly.
