A fourteen gauge brushed stainless steel corner guard is installed at a tiled exterior corner with one and one-half inch leg dimensions. The corner guard aligns with scheduled tile applied over a thinset mortar bed. A cementitious backer unit provides the substrate, supported by wood blocking as required behind the assembly.
