A plumbing vent pipe penetrates a single-ply roof assembly consisting of a metal deck, rigid insulation, and protection board. The roof membrane ties into a pre-molded single-ply pipe flashing with a two-inch minimum welded splice. A stainless steel clamping ring secures the top of the boot to the pipe, sealed with a continuous bead of sealant.
