Precast concrete stair treads and risers bear against a steel stringer supported by structural angle connections. A hollow structural section post coated with a high-performance finish extends upward to support hollow structural section beams and extruded aluminum pickets finished with a three-part PVDF coating. A painted steel handrail is mounted alongside the assembly with a cap weld sealing the top of the hollow structural section post to align with the aluminum pickets. A maximum four-inch clearance is maintained at the base condition.
