A painted metal curtain wall system abuts a precast concrete column, sealed with backer rods and silicone sealant at the panel joints. A continuous silicone sealant fillet is applied at the transition between the precast concrete and the adjacent framing. The aluminum framing members of the curtain wall interface directly with the exterior corner of the concrete column.
