Eight-inch cold-formed metal stud framing provides the structural core for the interior partition wall. Cavities are filled with sound attenuation batt insulation. One side receives a half-inch backer board layer beneath the finish surface. Both faces are finished with five-eighths-inch gypsum wall board, with final wall finishes specified in the finish schedule.
