This wall header assembly features exterior metal siding installed over an exterior gypsum sheathing and a liquid-applied weather barrier with taped joints. A pre-finished metal drip edge terminates the exterior cladding above the window head condition. The interior side is finished with 5/8-inch gypsum board over a framed wall as scheduled.
