A field-fabricated pipe flashing assembly is installed over rigid insulation and a membrane substrate. A reinforced membrane extends up the vertical penetration and onto the deck, tied in with a non-reinforced flashing layer and water stop. A stainless steel clamping ring secures the top of the flashing per the manufacturer recommendations. Fasteners and fastening plates anchor the assembly into the insulation layer with specified minimum clearances and maximum spacing dimensions. Sealant is applied at termination joints to ensure a watertight seal.
