A top-mounted railing attaches to a structural concrete roof slab using adhesive anchors and a base connection. The roof assembly consists of pedestal pavers supported by pedestals, a protection board, a protected membrane, and the concrete substrate. Neoprene washers are installed at the anchor bolts to seal the connection. Framing must follow architectural requirements, and membrane termination must follow manufacturer recommendations.
