A standard stair handrail assembly anchors to concrete stairs. Structural steel tubing measuring 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches by 3/16 inch serves as posts spaced at a maximum of 5'-0" on center. The top rail, grab rail, and mid-rails are constructed from 1 1/2 inch outside diameter by .120 inch wall steel tubing. A bent flat bar measuring 1/4 inch by 2 inches supports the intermediate rails alongside 1/2 inch diameter steel rods spaced with a maximum opening of 4 inches. The assembly maintains a typical 3'-6" total height above the stair nosing line with specific dimensional clearances.
