A heavy structural steel base plate measuring two and one-half inches thick is equipped with a weak axis gusset plate welded per manufacturer specifications. The layout features two-inch typical corner radii and machine scribe lines on the top surface centered on grid lines at one-sixteenth inch wide by one-thirty-second inch deep. Anchor bolt holes are positioned symmetrically around the column profile with specific offset dimensions and minimum clearances. The bottom surface of the base plate is designated with a TSC finish marker.
