Cold-formed steel framing at the opening head incorporates a bottom track for openings under four feet or two metal studs for openings between four and twelve feet. The gypsum board returns neatly to the head condition, finishing against the storefront frame. A shim provides alignment, and backer rod with sealant seals the joint between the frame and the wall finish.
