Metal stud framing details showing strap reinforcement conditions for gypsum board attachment. The web of the framing member is bent and attached to studs with two screws. Straps are provided on both sides of the stud where gypsum board occurs on one side only, and single straps are installed at sides without gypsum board. Blocking is positioned between studs with strap splices where required.
