A continuous three-foot six-inch captured laminated tempered glass guardrail stands atop the Level 2 slab edge, finished at the top with a continuous black anodized aluminum cap rail. The glass pane inserts into a continuous aluminum base shoe flanked on each side by three-quarter-inch black anodized aluminum closures. The base shoe mounts to the floor assembly, aligning above a continuous painted F-reveal shimmed as needed. Below the slab edge, five-eighth-inch painted gypsum board finishes the ceiling and wall plane.
