A roof pipe penetration assembly features a PVC-coated flange sealed over rigid insulation and roofing membrane. A pressure-sensitive tape secured by a stainless steel draw band wraps the upper collar, finished with water cut-off mastic per the manufacturer. The roofing membrane is primed and hot air-welded with a 1.5-inch minimum lap at flashing and seams. The assembly maintains a minimum 8-inch vertical clearance and slopes toward the drain at a minimum of 1/4 inch per foot. Notes specify that framing is per the architectural drawings and roofing installation and termination must follow manufacturer specifications.
