This assembly manages the transition between scheduled rubber tile and carpet floor finishes at a door threshold. A continuous rubber transition strip is centered beneath the door, which is installed as scheduled. The rubber tile and carpet are finished flush against the edges of the transition strip, which is anchored directly to the concrete slab substrate.
