The assembly consists of a cold-formed steel floor track anchored to the substrate with powder-actuated fasteners at specified spacings, featuring a minimum of two fasteners located under or adjacent to the jamb stud. Infill studs frame into the floor track and sill member. A 2-inch by 2-inch 16-gauge clip angle is positioned at the bottom of the header track, cut one-half inch less than the stud width, and fastened with three number 10 sheet metal screws on each leg to the jamb stud as scheduled.
