An architecturally exposed structural steel column is finished with painted surfaces and sized according to structural drawings. Glue-laminated timber infill pieces fit between the flanges of the steel section, finished to match adjacent glue-laminated columns. Sizing and dimensional clearances are coordinated with structural framing requirements.
