The window sill rests on shims and a window sill plate over a wall as scheduled, with a metal window seal extending outward above the masonry veneer. An undersill flashing membrane directs moisture outward, backed by a liquid-applied weather barrier over exterior gypsum sheathing and one-and-a-half-inch continuous rigid insulation. The stone masonry veneer incorporates mortar and weep holes spaced sixteen inches on center below a joint sealant and backer rod.
