A steel bolting flange assembly is constructed from three-sixteenth-inch plates joined with one-eighth-inch fillet welds. Side flange members are notched as required to accommodate the beam flange. Exterior exposed joints require welds to be wrapped around corners to ensure a watertight seal. Attachment to the primary structure is specified per structural drawings.
