A six-inch painted steel gate support post is concrete-filled and connected to an eight-inch concrete masonry unit block wall. A greater than 120-degree pipe hinge with a grease nipple mounts the gate assembly. A hollow structural section 4x4x3/16-inch primed and painted gate frame connects to a 2x2x3/16-inch ledger frame. The ledger frame interfaces with a 1 1/2-inch painted metal deck.
