The partition top track connects to a concrete-filled metal deck using a metal strap detailed per the wall attachment schedule. Acoustic insulation fills the deck flutes and the partition cavity to maintain sound ratings. Smoke and sound spray sealant is applied at the joints on both sides of the partition to maintain fire and acoustic separation.
