A suspended gypsum board ceiling terminates at a vertical wall with a perimeter angle. Main runners are suspended by hanger wires, carrying cross furring spaced to receive the gypsum board. The gypsum board is secured to the cross furring with screws at twelve inches on center and finished with joint tape. At the fixed end, the perimeter angle is fastened to each stud with a number ten sheet metal screw.
