A control joint profile is embedded within the cement plaster ceiling assembly to accommodate movement and prevent cracking. The metal joint accessory features an inverted V-shaped expansion zone flanked by perforated flanges embedded flush in the plaster finish. Backing substrate layers and framing are indicated above the plaster layer.
