A junction between a composite metal panel system and a storefront system bears over a structural steel tube framing member. The assembly incorporates exterior sheathing backed by an air and water barrier, over which one and a half inches of semi-rigid insulation is installed beneath the two and a half inch deep composite metal panel system. Metal flashing and barrier flashing tape are provided at the top and bottom transitions of the metal panels, aligned with top of metal panel and bottom of metal panel elevations. The storefront system abuts the metal panel assembly, detailed with specific dimensional clearances and vertical offsets.
