This assembly consists of a box beam header fabricated from cold-formed metal stud framing, positioned within a partition wall. The header is enclosed by gypsum wallboard on both faces, with corner beads installed at the edges for a finished cased opening. Insulation is provided within the wall cavity where specified by partition details. The top of the metal framing is referenced to a separate section for elevation alignment.
