Cold-formed metal studs bear on an eighteen-gauge continuous bottom track fastened directly to a concrete foundation slab. The studs are six hundred S one sixty-four dash forty-three members spaced at sixteen inches on center and secured to the bottom track with two number ten self-tapping metal screws. The continuous track features one and one-half inch legs and is anchored to the top of the slab using three-eighths-inch diameter concrete screws with three and one-quarter inches of embedment.
