A reinforced concrete elevator pit wall and slab corner assembly features a multi-layer waterproofing system. Blindside horizontal waterproofing membrane installs beneath the pit slab and extends up the vertical face. A self-adhering sheet waterproofing layer applies over the vertical concrete surface, topped by a protection course to prevent damage during backfill or subsequent construction activities.
