Fastening and anchorage assemblies for wall and base marker or chalk boards. Cabinets are secured to backing plates using number 10 sheet metal screws spaced at one foot four inches on center unless noted otherwise. Backing plate type one is installed per reference detail nine on sheet A9.15. Base cabinets rest on continuous two-inch wood members and are anchored using three-eighths-inch Hilti KB-TZ wedge anchors with a two-inch minimum embedment spaced at four feet on center, supplemented by number 10 wood screws at two feet on center. Knee space corbels are attached using number 10 sheet metal screws spaced at one foot on center, with two screws used at each corbel connection.
