A continuous hydraulic grout bed of one-quarter-inch minimum thickness supports the steel anchor plates embedded within the concrete fill. The rail assembly secures to the slab using three-eighths-inch Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors with a minimum embedment of two and one-half inches. Anchor plates measure two by seven by one-eighth inches and are spaced at nine inches on center. The surrounding floor incorporates carpet with allowance for required floor covering thickness.
