A metal stud partition terminates at a rated concrete and metal deck floor slab with a top track secured by minimum one-eighth-inch powder-actuated fasteners at twenty-four inches on center with one-and-one-quarter-inch minimum embedment. Web stiffeners are added as required to meet limiting height requirements, alongside metal U-channel lateral bracing and metal clip angles. Additional layers of gypsum wallboard and sound attenuation fire blanket are included per partition type.
