A flexible duct connects to a ceiling diffuser mounted in a ceiling tile system by others, requiring a minimum of six feet of soft flexible duct. The duct must be properly supported to prevent pinching and tied back to the ceiling or structure per jurisdiction. A straight run equal to at least two duct diameters must enter the diffuser, or the engineer must be contacted if this cannot be obtained.
