The suspended tile soffit assembly hangs from overhead deck construction using 12 gauge wire hangers, bracing, and brackets. Framing consists of 3-5/8 inch or 6 inch metal track at the overhead structure depending on alignment with deck flutes, supporting 3-5/8 inch metal studs. The soffit face and underside receive 5/8 inch tile backer board secured with corrosion-resistant screws. Finished tile is applied directly to the face and underside of the soffit board. Bottom of ceiling and bottom of soffit elevations are coordinated per the reflected ceiling plan.
