A one-quarter-inch steel plate protective bumper is mounted to a concrete wall or column to shield vulnerable piping from vehicle impact. The curved steel guard wraps around the pipe and is secured with typical expansion anchors on both mounting flanges. Pipe locations must be field verified prior to fabrication of the protective assembly. This protective plate is required at all pipes subject to potential vehicle collision.
