This stair section details the bottom landing condition bearing onto a concrete-filled metal deck floor slab. A one-inch cold joint separates the edge of slab and the stair infill concrete. The stair fabricator must account for lateral building movement in the connection design and coordinate adjacent steel dimensions prior to fabrication.
