A steel stair assembly features metal pan landing platforms and treads filled with concrete. A mill-finished stainless steel handrail is mounted alongside a painted steel hollow structural section guardrail with vertical pickets spaced to maintain a maximum four-inch clearance. The stair stringers consist of painted steel tubes supporting the concrete-filled metal pans, which include abrasive nosings at each leading edge. Guard support centerlines and vertical dimensions indicate standard heights of three feet six inches for the guard and three feet for the handrail.
