A shaft wall partition terminates at a concrete deck edge supported by a slotted J-track mechanically fastened at twenty-four inches on center maximum. The assembly includes a composite deck edge form and a half-inch fire sealant approved by the Underwriters Laboratories assembly HW-D-0119. The partition type and subtype are installed as scheduled with rated assemblies providing one- and two-hour fire ratings.
